The extreme poverty across Pakistan means that access to healthcare is limited and thousands of people desperately need our support:
• 1 in 9 Pakistani women develop breast cancer
• Pakistan has the highest incident in South Asia
• 40,000 women lose their lives each year
The majority of cases in Pakistan are not diagnosed in time because of lack of awareness and cultural taboos that drive women to keep the disease a secret.
Early screenings and detection are extremely important to stand a good chance of survival.
Our target is to provide over 25 lifesaving screenings every day.
This Ramadan we need your support to make this dream a reality.
Our partners at IKCA are making a machine available to us for £6,000. We need your support to be able to give people the treatment they deserve.
We will also be supporting training and awareness for community leaders, colleges and universities in rural villages.
