Mammogram Project

Mammogram Screenings
Rehmat Medical Aid knows that communities in Pakistan need much more than kidney care treatment. The extreme poverty across Pakistan means that access to healthcare is limited and thousands of people desperately need our support.
Our new Mammogram project will mean that we can make a start on providing further treatment to communities in Pakistan. By providing over 25 lifesaving screenings every day we will be able to detect cancer early and give people the best chance of survival.
We need your support to make this project a reality.
“If anyone saves a life, it shall be as though he had saved the lives of all mankind.”(Qur’an:5: 32)
One Mammography machine costs around £50,000. We need your support to be able to give people the treatment they deserve.
What is a mammogram?
A mammogram is an x-ray of your breasts to detect cancer when it is most treatable. It is a non-invasive medical test that helps physicians diagnose and treat medical conditions. A mammogram uses x-rays to search for any abnormal areas of density or mass that may indicate cancer.
