Kidney Dialysis
We still have a waiting list of patients, The dialysis hall is full. We are raising funds to allow for the ongoing treatments of the current patient list, an extension of the hall to allow for more machines, and the costs of more machines, being £8000 per machine.
Water Filtration Plants
We want to add to our vast network of water filtration plants with another plant to serve more needy people. Each plant costs £5,500 and we are hoping to raise the cost of another plant this Ramadan.

Diagnostic Laboratory
Currently testing over 300 patients per month, (Some internal Dialysis patients and some from the local community) with each patients monthly testing costing " £20.00 per month, equivalent to Approx. 5000Rupees", and taking weeks for results, the cost constraints to those Patients that need has been eradicated and the results are available on the spot.
The opening of this laboratory was a proud and emotional event for the volunteers, who much loved the Founder's (Abdul Rashid Mirza), brother, Abdul Hafiz Mogul who was always a pillar of support for the charity from the first stone being laid to its current position.
The Messenger of Allah (saw) said:”… whoever fasts during Ramadan out of sincere faith and hoping to attain Allah’s rewards, all his past sins will be forgiven.” (Imam Bukhari).
This year, Ramadan is expected to begin on the evening of Tuesday 17th February 2026 and end on either the evening of Wednesday 18th March or Thursday 19th March 2026, depending on the sighting of the moon. During Ramadan Muslims around the world will fast from sunrise until sunset and abstain from many activities, including food and drink. It is a month of spirituality and the focus for Muslims in this month is to strengthen their relationship to Allah (God) through prayer, fasting and other good deeds, including charity.
There are great rewards for fasting in Ramadan and Muslims celebrate the month by a three-day celebration at the end of Ramadan called Eid-ul-Fitr.
For Muslims giving charity is a key part of their daily life which is embodied further in the month of Ramadan. There are many examples of verses from the Qur’an and sayings of the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) which show the importance of sharing your wealth with those who are less fortunate.
Learn About Zakat
Zakat, the donation of charity to the poor and needy. It is one of the five pillars of Islam and it is obligatory upon every adult Muslim with a sound mind and the means. Zakat is only payable when an individual owns a specific amount of money or savings (nisab level) after living costs and expenses.
Zakat can be paid at any time during the year but many Muslims pay it during Ramadan because it is one of the most blessed times of the year in Islam.
