Rehmat Medical Aid is a project of Rehmat Foundation

Many of our existing and previous supporters will know us as Rehmat Foundation Charity Projects, which was the name we were known by since being founded in 2002. This is also the registered name of the charity that can be found in the charity commission register.

We took the decision as an organisation to focus our efforts and work on the field of healthcare and all that is linked with it including treating and prevention of disease in poverty stricken area.

In order to reflect this decision and path that our charity chose to take we decided that our name and branding should reflect this more accurately.

Hence we established ‘ Rehmat Medical Aid ‘ as the lead project of ‘ Rehmat Foundation Charity Projects’. The new blood drop logo is a more appropriate representation of the direction we are heading in as a charity also reflects our work more accurately so it would be easier for people to understand what our work entails.

Even the largest of charities and companies rebrand to adapt to different priorities or focus on a more specific cause

Due to the growth and expansion of the charity and our support and exposure from countries throughout the world, it was agreed that the name needed to reflect this by adopting a more relevant name. In order to continue and grow the appeal of the charity to a wider audience, we believe the name Rehmat Medical Aid will help us achieve our ambitious targets over the short and long term.

All our supporters can rest assured that that the charity is the same charity that you have supported from the start. We have the same non-profit ethos, voluntary committee and increased passion and commitment. We are working hard to save more lives than ever and provide lifesaving medical treatment to those in poverty every single day.
